Offshore Construction Superintendent

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking an experienced Construction Discipline Superintendent to lead the construction scope for offshore floating facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) compliance, quality standards, and schedule adherence across your discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure the HSSE plan is understood and implemented by supervisors.
• Lead the site quality verification team and ensure the Quality Plan is followed.
• Oversee mechanical completion activities, including familiarity with construction and completion processes.
• Monitor yard productivity, manpower allocation, and construction schedule milestones.
• Review and approve yard construction procedures related to your discipline.
• Ensure the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) is executed and documented.
• Maintain and approve Quality Verification Documentation, Manufacturing Data Records (MDR), and as‑built dossiers.
• Compile and issue Discipline Inspection Test Reports and manage punch‑list items.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to meet Required On Site (ROS) material deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in offshore construction environments.
• Strong understanding of HSSE requirements and ability to drive targets.
• Experience managing quality assurance processes and meeting group quality standards.
• Knowledge of mechanical completion procedures and documentation control.
• Ability to monitor productivity, manage resources, and meet schedule milestones.
