Operations Manager

About the role

You will join a fast‑moving, product‑driven environment in Switzerland, coordinating day‑to‑day operations across a freelance marketplace ecosystem. As the central point of contact between freelancers and internal buyers, you will ensure clear, timely communication and smooth workflow execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational workflows, guaranteeing tasks move efficiently through defined processes.
• Coordinate communication between freelancers and buyers, clarifying requirements and tracking task status.
• Monitor task progress, SLA compliance, and workflow performance, proactively identifying delays or risks.
• Handle support requests, resolve operational issues, and manage conflict or exception handling.
• Support onboarding and verification of new freelancers, ensuring accurate data entry in Jira, Confluence, and other tools.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing scalable enhancements.
• Escalate critical incidents or risks to leadership when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience in operations, project coordination, support, or account management.
• Strong written English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous or rapidly changing settings.

Required skills

• Basic experience with Jira.
• Basic experience with Confluence.
