Part-time Maintenance and Grounds Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time Maintenance and Grounds Assistant to support a private family in Prilly, near Lausanne. The role is hands‑on, outdoor‑focused and involves keeping a large private garden and property in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a large private garden: lawn care, pruning, planting and seasonal upkeep.
• Keep all outdoor areas, pathways and garden spaces tidy, safe and well‑presented.
• Assist with swimming pool upkeep, including surrounding area maintenance.
• Perform general handyman tasks and minor repairs across outdoor areas and property features.
• Maintain outdoor equipment, organise tools and storage areas.
• Identify and report larger maintenance issues that require specialist attention.
• Provide occasional airport driving support for family members.

Required profile

• Valid Swiss or EU passport or Swiss work permit.
• Experience in gardening, maintenance or handyman work.
• Strong practical and repair skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently and be punctual.
• Valid driving licence and confidence driving.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of CHF 25 gross.
• Long‑term part‑time opportunity.
• Flexible schedule: Monday 09:00‑17:00, Wednesday 09:00‑13:00, Friday 09:00‑17:00.
