Pattern Maker / Product Development Technician

About the role

INA KESS is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker / Product Development Technician to join its atelier team in Wollerau. You will work closely with design, product development and atelier colleagues to turn sketches into production‑ready garments, ensuring fit, practicality and efficiency for industrial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine patterns and garment specifications from prototype through to production.
• Perform pattern corrections, grading and fit optimisation, and document technical comments.
• Participate in fit sessions, evaluate samples against specifications and prepare technical documentation for manufacturers.
• Collaborate with design, product development and atelier teams to ensure garments are ready for production.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional pattern making experience.
• Proficiency with a CAD system; Gerber Technology is preferred.
• Excellent tailoring skills and experience with high‑stretch jersey fabrics.
• Grading experience and understanding of industrial production processes.
• Strong communication skills with factories; good English (German is a plus).
• Collaborative, hands‑on mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
