P&C Solution Architect – Guidewire & Zurich Solutions

About the role

As a Solution Architect within Zurich’s P&C Transformation unit, you will shape the technological future of the insurer by defining end‑to‑end architectures for all Guidewire centres and related Zurich solutions. You will work in a hybrid setting from Oerlikon, Zurich, collaborating with product owners, development teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete solution design across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform and adjacent Zurich solutions.
• Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with Zurich standards such as ASD42.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and make technical decisions together with Enterprise Architecture, Security and delivery teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust solution designs and guide them from concept to implementation.
• Serve as the central contact for architectural topics, working closely with product owners, business analysts, developers and external partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in an agile insurance environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, Integration Gateway) at an international insurer.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills, fluent in English and/or German (C1/C2).
