People Operations Specialist – Remote HR Role

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international defence‑technology organization as a People Operations Specialist. You will support day‑to‑day HR operations, assist employees with HR queries, coordinate onboarding, and maintain accurate employee records in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle employee HR questions, track requests and escalate sensitive matters.
• Coordinate onboarding with Talent, hiring managers, IT and other stakeholders.
• Process employment verification and background‑check requests while ensuring confidentiality.
• Maintain employee records in HR systems, verify data accuracy and update documentation.
• Keep operational trackers, process guides and internal documentation up to date.
• Contribute to employee‑lifecycle projects, improve workflows and support cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in HR or Talent, with hands‑on coordination and administrative tasks.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and proactive with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and know when to escalate.
• Willingness to learn new HR systems and work collaboratively in a remote, distributed environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and digital tools.
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with background‑check platforms and employment verification processes.
