About the role

Join a fast‑growing research team at the University of St. Gallen to investigate how generative and agentic AI reshape industrial strategy, organizations, and business models. You will work closely with leading industry partners such as Bosch, applying cutting‑edge AI concepts to real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct applied research on generative and agentic AI in collaboration with industry partners.
• Co‑develop and support implementation of AI‑driven strategies, business models, products, and processes.
• Design, prototype, and evaluate AI systems within live organizational contexts.
• Derive rigorous, publishable insights that balance academic excellence with practical relevance.
• Present findings to interdisciplinary audiences, including C‑level executives, through publications and presentations.

Required profile

• Strong interest in agentic AI, technology‑driven innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategy.
• Academic background in management, economics, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Master’s degree meeting PhD admission criteria at the University of St. Gallen (GPA ≥ 5.0).
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
