Planning Engineer – ATLAS LS3 Installation

About the role

The Planning Engineer will support ATLAS Technical Coordination during Long Shutdown 3 (LS3). You will keep the installation schedule up‑to‑date, flag delays and propose mitigation actions to recover lost time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ATLAS installation schedules for LS3 and manage baseline changes.
• Monitor progress in planning meetings, report delays and suggest corrective measures.
• Lead the quarterly status‑reporting process for Phase‑2 Upgrade projects.
• Supervise the team that maintains the interface with the ATLAS Oracle database.
• Collect requirements for information‑management tools and prioritize development tasks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning, forecasting and resource coordination, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of planning software such as MS Project.
• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and supervise a small technical team.
