Platform Engineer – CI/CD Automation

About the role

ALTEN Switzerland is seeking a Platform Engineer to automate and streamline software release processes for its high‑tech clients. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code, and ensure system security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and manage Kubernetes clusters (Vanilla, GKE) using Helm and Ansible.
• Integrate Cilium for networking, security and observability within Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve release speed and stability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering or Linux systems administration.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
