Principal Investigator – AI Presentation Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to hire an experienced Principal Investigator who will guide the training of a new language model on professional presentation and slide‑deck tasks. The role is fully remote, flexible and compensated at $70 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and refine AI‑generated conference presentation decks, research posters, grant proposal figures and results‑communication slides.
• Develop plain‑language research summaries and lab‑meeting presentations using AI assistance.
• Collaborate with the AI research team to improve model performance on presentation‑related workflows.
• Provide expert feedback on slide craftsmanship, visual design and narrative flow.

Required profile

• PhD with at least three years of post‑doctoral research experience and a solid publication record.
• Demonstrated track record of presenting research at conferences, to funders or other professional audiences.
• Exceptional written communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and slide design.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $70 (up to $1,400 per week based on 20 hours).
• Flexible commitment of 5–20 hours per week, with the possibility to increase.
