Process Engineer – Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Process Engineer to bridge the gap between concept and series production for a leading premium sporting‑goods manufacturer. The role focuses on driving the digitisation of the manufacturing landscape, integrating Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 principles.

Key responsibilities

• Own cross‑functional projects from initial concept through to final implementation.
• Design, optimise and digitise production processes, embedding Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Develop and maintain work plans, master data and technical documentation to ensure safe, high‑volume production.
• Create data‑driven decision bases and perform deep‑dive analyses on components and workflows.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets and technical objectives, providing comprehensive reporting to stakeholders.
• Support international sites and represent the company at industry trade fairs on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in project management, logistics and process optimisation within a sophisticated industrial environment.
• Strong affinity for Industry 4.0, Lean Management and the ability to map complex production steps into digital systems.
• Native or excellent German language skills and professional fluency in English.
