Process Engineer – Manufacturing & Validation

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Process Engineer II to develop and stabilize manufacturing processes at its Le Locle site. You will work closely with technicians, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, compliant production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop stable manufacturing processes using a structured development approach.
• Manage cost‑reduction projects involving scrap, reprocessing and consumables.
• Design and develop tools, fixtures, gauges and special equipment in collaboration with technicians and external suppliers.
• Plan, execute and document process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) to guarantee compliant processes.
• Analyze and optimise workflows to improve quality, efficiency and throughput.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, process validation or quality engineering.
• Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace) is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Strong understanding of validation requirements (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Knowledge of NC/CAPA processes and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and documentation abilities.
