Procurement Director – Corporate & Professional Services

About the role

The Marketing and Corporate Services Procurement Director leads sourcing strategy for marketing and indirect categories that support Sazerac’s enterprise functions, including Corporate, IT, HR, and Travel & Entertainment. This senior role partners with functional leaders to drive cost efficiency, supplier performance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for Marketing and Corporate Services aligned with business objectives.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation and contracting (MSAs, SoWs, SLAs) for media, research, point‑of‑sale services, insurance, legal, audit, IT software/hardware, HR programs and travel management.
• Drive procurement initiatives that deliver cost savings, supplier innovation and risk mitigation.
• Establish governance, KPIs and scorecards to monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.
• Manage and develop the Corporate & Professional Services Procurement team, building a sustainable talent pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years progressive procurement or category management experience in marketing and indirect services.
• Proven ability to develop category strategies, manage suppliers and negotiate complex contracts.
• Strong analytical, commercial and relationship‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
