Procurement Manager – Business Process Outsourcing

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services within a leading international procurement organisation based in Zurich. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective, resilient supplier solutions for complex outsourcing programmes in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects across BPO categories such as Finance & Accounting, HR services, contact centres, back‑office and operations support.
• Develop and implement category strategies that drive cost savings, operational resilience and long‑term supplier value.
• Manage tender processes, supplier selection, negotiations and contract execution for large‑scale service agreements.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure robust governance and third‑party risk management.
• Monitor supplier markets, performance and trends to identify improvement opportunities and innovation.

Required profile

• Strong procurement experience sourcing BPO services across multiple categories.
• Proven success leading complex sourcing projects and negotiations in indirect procurement.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as banking or financial services is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging senior leaders.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
• Experience across EMEA/DACH markets is advantageous.
