Procurement Manager Marketing & Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing for Marketing and Consulting categories within a leading international procurement organisation based in Zurich. The role focuses on delivering commercial optimisation, supplier strategy and category expertise in a fast‑paced, advisory‑led environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects across Marketing and Professional Services categories, including agencies, media, events, consulting and broader advisory spend.
• Develop and implement category strategies that generate savings, drive supplier innovation and create commercial value.
• Manage tender processes, supplier selection and contract negotiations for complex service‑based categories.
• Partner with client stakeholders to translate requirements into effective procurement strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends and risk factors to improve quality, service and cost outcomes.
• Deliver multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Strong procurement experience in Marketing Services and Consulting/Professional Services spend categories.
• Proven success leading sourcing projects and negotiations within indirect procurement environments.
• Experience in a consulting, advisory or client‑facing procurement model is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to negotiate agency, consultancy and service contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior business functions.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
