Procurement & Pricing Manager

About the role

Atlantic Gate is seeking an experienced Procurement & Pricing Manager to lead sea‑freight procurement and pricing in Geneva. You will ensure competitive rates, secure capacity and drive margin while collaborating with sales, operations, finance and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement carrier‑specific procurement and pricing strategies across trade lanes.
• Lead negotiations with shipping lines and partners to obtain competitive rates and priority capacity.
• Maintain strong carrier relationships and act as escalation point for rate and service issues.
• Oversee pricing data consolidation, validation and governance across local and network sources.
• Support customer tenders, spot quotations and strategic bids with margin‑protective solutions.
• Provide market updates, trend analysis and forecasts on rates, capacity and service reliability.
• Monitor win/loss feedback, quote response times and carrier performance to improve competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, pricing tools and reporting standards.
• Manage, coach and develop the procurement and pricing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sea‑freight procurement, carrier management or ocean product experience.
• Strong negotiation capability and commercial judgement to protect margins.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to translate market information into pricing guidance.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.
