Procurement Specialist - External Sourcing & OEM

About the role

An established international manufacturing group based in Canton Aargau is looking for a Procurement Specialist covering external sourcing and OEM. The role manages the global sourcing portfolio of finished third-party products and sub-assemblies, bridging strategic category management with operational supply chain execution across European markets. It is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid setup of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing and TCO reduction initiatives for third-party manufactured products and sub-assemblies
• Lead commercial relationships with international OEM/ODM suppliers in Europe and Asia, including contract negotiations, pricing indexation and SLAs
• Partner with Quality, Logistics and R&D to mitigate supply risks, resolve escalations and source compliant new product components
• Maintain procurement master data and analytics in SAP (MM/SD) and drive landed-cost optimisation

Required profile

• 3-6 years of strategic procurement or category management experience focused on finished goods, external products or OEM sourcing
• Background in technical manufacturing, industrial components, electrical/mechanical equipment or related technical industries
• Fluent German and English; French or Italian is a strong advantage
• Located within commuting distance of Canton Aargau
• Valid right to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA passport or valid Swiss work permit)
