Procurement & Vendor Strategy Consultant – Part‑Time (Switzerland)

About the role

This part‑time consulting position supports a Swiss‑based organization in maximizing the value of its technology investments. You will work remotely with executive stakeholders to improve vendor relationships, negotiate better commercial terms, and uncover cost‑saving opportunities across a portfolio of SaaS and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Review SaaS, cloud infrastructure, software, data, advertising technology and service‑provider agreements to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations to improve pricing, contract terms, service levels and overall value.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities, eliminate redundancies and improve technology spend efficiency.
• Research alternative vendors and platforms to strengthen negotiation leverage.
• Develop vendor consolidation strategies across multiple business units and acquired companies.
• Partner with leadership to align procurement priorities with business needs.
• Analyse software usage, subscriptions and vendor commitments to uncover savings.
• Support procurement activities for new initiatives, product launches and acquisitions, including post‑acquisition integration.
• Create visibility into renewals, pricing structures and performance metrics, and report realised savings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud infrastructure or digital services agreements.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings through vendor negotiations.
• Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness in technology‑focused environments.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
