Product & Applications Engineer

About the role

Bioscibex is seeking a hands‑on, customer‑oriented Product & Applications Engineer to support product development, manage key suppliers, and demonstrate technology to customers. You will work at the intersection of engineering, supplier coordination, and field applications in a fast‑moving life‑sciences startup.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, prototyping, assembly and testing of consumables and hardware.
• Support product testing, validation, troubleshooting and create detailed documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure quality, timelines and technical alignment.
• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations, product presentations and field application activities.
• Gather customer feedback and translate it into product improvement opportunities.
• Assist internal teams with product launch, technical documentation and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in life sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a technical role such as biopharma production, field application, product development or technical customer support.
• Experience managing suppliers or external technical partners.
• Fluent in English; French or German language skills are a plus.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car; ability to travel up to 50 % of the time.
