Product Manager for Core Document Tools

About the role

Smallpdf is looking for a Product Manager to own and improve its core document tools that serve over 60 million monthly users. You will work closely with growth, SEO, and engineering teams to make these tools the fastest and most reliable option for users arriving via search, AI assistants, and paid channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end experience of individual tools, from upload to download, ensuring high processing speed and output quality.
• Collaborate with SEO, SEM and growth teams to optimise acquisition channels, including AI‑driven search.
• Define and launch AI features with rigorous accuracy, cost and quality checks.
• Design, run and analyse A/B experiments on millions of sessions, iterating or terminating based on results.
• Conduct deep user research and data analysis to become the voice of the user in product decisions.
• Set strategy and roadmap based on user feedback, data and business goals, presenting clear commercial cases.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience, preferably with high‑volume consumer tools.
• Hands‑on experience running A/B tests on live traffic.
• Comfortable working with engineers on trade‑offs, speed, errors and estimations.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and define problems before they are named.
• Strong commercial sense – you can estimate feature value before building.
