Product Manager – On‑Ramp & Swap (Remote)

About the role

Tether is looking for a senior Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of buying and swapping USDT and XAUT in the Tether Wallet. You will work remotely, collaborating with expansion teams and partners to make on‑ramps and swaps simple, fast and affordable for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the roadmap for fiat on‑ramps, card payments, local methods and token‑to‑token swaps across target markets.
• Map each market’s payment landscape, evaluate partners, and lead onboarding from due‑diligence to go‑live.
• Translate partner APIs into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with engineering and design to deliver a seamless in‑app experience.
• Design routing logic that selects the optimal partner based on country, currency, amount and availability.
• Track and improve KPIs such as conversion, approval rates, KYC drop‑off and total cost to the user.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management in banking, payments or FinTech.
• 3+ years in DeFi or crypto, with strong knowledge of wallets and token swaps.
• Hands‑on experience with fiat on‑ramps, off‑ramps or third‑party payment gateway integrations.
• Proven ability to evaluate, select and manage external partners.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience defining funnel KPIs.

Required skills

• API integration and documentation reading.
• Understanding of global payment systems, Visa/Mastercard, 3‑D Secure and chargebacks.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML processes and their impact on conversion.
• Familiarity with DeFi features: token swaps, DEX aggregators, on‑chain transaction flows.
