Production Manager – Global Value Stream

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development and operational execution of our global value stream, from order receipt through delivery. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership across multiple functional areas to drive profitability, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the global value‑stream strategy, covering order intake to customer delivery.
• Own the P&L for the value stream, managing budgets, manufacturing costs and overall economic results.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in production, assembly, work preparation, purchasing, customer service and process engineering.
• Maintain and improve core KPIs such as on‑time delivery, product quality and plant availability.
• Plan long‑term capacity and investments for worldwide production sites and ensure cross‑functional collaboration.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, eliminating waste and applying modern shop‑floor management practices.

Required profile

• Technical engineering degree (FH/HF) complemented by business administration training (MBA, Master’s or equivalent).
• Several years of proven management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within an international corporation or global SME.
• Deep, practical knowledge of Lean methodologies, value‑stream design (VSA/VSD) and modern shop‑floor management.
• Fluent in German and English for daily global coordination.
• Assertive, hands‑on leadership style with strong strategic vision and resilience.
