Production Operator (Drug Substance Bioprocess)

About the role
We are looking for a Production Operator to join the Biologics Manufacturing Science and Operations team at an international pharmaceutical company in Schachen, Lucerne. The role supports drug substance bioprocess activities, ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and compliance with GMP standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare components, set up equipment, and perform sampling during production runs.
- Manage material flow and perform shop‑floor tasks such as inventory handling.
- Maintain equipment GMP status through routine monitoring, calibration, maintenance and certification.
- Complete and review batch documentation to support production activities.
- Familiarize with and follow area SOPs.
- Coordinate daily work schedules with support groups and handle housekeeping duties.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or equivalent apprenticeship/education.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Required skills
- Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes.
