Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join a global biopharmaceutical company in Lucerne for a 12‑month assignment, with the possibility of extension. The role is part of the Biologics Manufacturing Science and Operations department, focusing on drug substance bioprocesses.

Key responsibilities

• Support cross‑functional teams in equipment operation during manufacturing, including component preparation, equipment setup, sampling, and material management.
• Maintain GMP status of equipment through routine monitoring, calibration, maintenance, and certification.
• Review and complete batch documentation to support production activities.
• Familiarise with and follow area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate daily work schedules and organise collaboration with support groups.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or equivalent apprenticeship/education.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Additional 2‑3 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is advantageous.
