Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner will support manufacturing planning, scheduling, and change‑over activities for the Luterbach Drug Substance Manufacturing Site. You will create and maintain accurate daily production schedules and medium‑term plans used across Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Engineering, Validation and Plant Management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily production schedules and medium‑term plans for the Luterbach drug‑substance site.
• Coordinate product change‑over timelines to meet demand plans.
• Interact with manufacturing, materials, quality, engineering and validation teams to capture real‑time production status and update schedules.
• Support facility project schedules, including shutdowns, commissioning, validation and routine maintenance.
• Identify scheduling constraints early, propose alternatives and escalate issues when needed.
• Report schedule and project status regularly to management.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 3‑5 years of planning or scheduling experience in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Independent, customer‑focused and able to communicate schedule changes clearly.
• Proactive problem‑solver with ability to influence without formal authority.
• Understanding of protein biologics manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise planning systems such as Infor or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macro development.
• Proficiency with standard Office applications.
