Production Planner – Manufacturing Scheduling

About the role

As a Production Planner at Studer Cables, you will be responsible for precise production scheduling to ensure optimal use of capacity and on‑time delivery of cable products. You will work within the ERP system to create, monitor, and adjust production orders according to make‑to‑stock, make‑to‑order, or development strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and monitor production orders for cable manufacturing in the ERP system.
• Prepare workload plans for the assigned production area and coordinate with the production control team.
• Support material procurement, plan raw‑material and semi‑finished‑goods inventory, and maintain item master data.
• Ensure material availability while controlling costs and meeting quantity targets and deadlines.
• Provide reliable delivery dates for quotes and projects based on accurate planning.

Required profile

• Technical or business training with certification as a Process Specialist (FA) or Certified Industrial Engineer (HF) preferred.
• Several years of experience as a production planner, especially in line planning.
• Open‑minded, flexible, proactive, and committed to quality and on‑time delivery.
• Excellent written and spoken German skills.
