Production Scheduler & Controller (m/w/d)

About the role

A family-run company active in the aviation sector for over 70 years is looking for a production scheduler and controller. The role combines production planning, capacity monitoring and customer order scheduling within a flat hierarchy and short decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out production planning and monitor capacity across work areas and machines
• Schedule customer orders and handle disposition control
• Plan the daily cycle in detail and recognise deviations, initiating corrective measures
• Help define target times and take part in make-or-buy decisions
• Manage dummy orders for capacity planning and coordinate with procurement, PLP and development on long-lead items
• Prepare key figures and capacity utilisation overviews, optimise processes and contribute to internal projects

Required profile

• Completed technical apprenticeship and further training in process management
• At least two years of professional experience in metal construction or mechanical engineering
• At least two years of experience in production planning and control
• Experience in regulated industries such as aviation, medical technology or automotive is an advantage
• Very good German and good English
• Flexible, resilient, team player with a structured way of working
