Production Technician – Fill & Finish (Pharmaceutical)

About the role

Incyte is looking for a production technician for its Fill & Finish (F&F) department, which carries out the aseptic filling of drug substance into vials using an automated isolator filling line, including set-up, set-down and visual inspection of filled vials. The role is the last production step before obtaining a sterile drug product. Shift work is required, with occasional weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Control production equipment and carry out the IPC according to GMP rules, following the defined schedule
• Take WFI samples on schedule, ensure traceability and report anomalies to Quality Control
• Participate in maintenance, cleaning, batch release (reviewing exceptions and closing batch records) and equipment qualification protocols
• Record quality deviations in the quality system and take part in investigations
• Carry out the theoretical and practical training plan and train colleagues in the area
• Contribute to continuous improvement through 5S and Gemba, and act as a role model for timely batch production
• Work in line with legal, compliance and ethical requirements

Required profile

• Technical or scientific training (CFC or equivalent, Bachelor HES, DUT/BTS) in industrial pharmacy or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in the chemical, agro-food, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Field experience in cGMP production
• Shift work, including weekends, and flexibility in working hours with occasional daytime work
• Ability to work in a demanding, highly regulated environment and to work as a team player
