Program Coordinator & Faculty Assistant Intern

About the role

IMD, an independent university institute founded in 1945 and operating from Lausanne with hubs in Singapore, Shenzhen and Cape Town, is recruiting a full-time Program Coordinator & Faculty Assistant Intern (100%, 1 February to 31 July 2027). The PC&FA is the first point of contact for IMD participants and supports the PC&FA department, contributing to the client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the organisation of executive development programmes with high-level service and world-class standards.
• Help coordinate the daily programme schedule and teaching materials with faculty members and internal departments such as marketing, the print shop and the restaurant.
• Handle administrative tasks, follow up with departments and organise special events, meetings and support for guest speakers.
• Support the creation of Learning Portals so participants from around the world can prepare for their arrival.
• Support participants throughout the programme, from one day to several weeks.
• Carry out general secretarial duties and help with document or database research.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in studies (BA in progress in hospitality management, tourism or marketing).
• Experience in an international environment is a strong plus.
• Organisational and administrative skills, ability to handle multiple priorities independently, customer orientation, diplomacy and discretion, strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
• Fluent English; good command of French or other languages is an advantage.
• Valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EEA/EFTA citizenship.

Required skills

• Good written communication skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
