Project Construction Manager (French Speaking)

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is looking for a Project Construction Manager who is fluent in French and English to lead plant erection projects in the waste‑to‑value sector. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing erection activities while ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage erection plans for large industrial plants, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, time and cost requirements.
• Coordinate resource planning together with the Project Manager and HSMIC and support site personnel to achieve work‑package objectives.
• Specify, procure and manage installation packages, tools and third‑party contractors.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations and risks, and act proactively in coordination with the Project Director.
• Develop and implement erection and crane concepts, including sequencing and constructability assessments.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks and site activities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in plant erection, preferably on large industrial plants.
• Strong background in site management, erection planning and interdisciplinary project work.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Commercial acumen and ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility.
• Valid SCC and IOSH certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using SAP for project and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with PIRS (Project Information and Reporting System).
