Project Controller – Global Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Controller will report to the VP Global Constructions and coordinate budgeting, cost control, and planning across all global construction projects. The role includes regular site visits to monitor progress.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and project managers to develop budgets and cost estimates for new construction and development projects.
• Maintain project schedules, provide regular updates and ensure consistent planning across pre‑construction and construction phases.
• Perform monthly cost analysis, identify deviations and implement a worldwide control system.
• Forecast upcoming costs, support mitigation strategies and contribute to cash‑flow planning.
• Analyse variations and claims, ensuring accurate valuation of change orders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction projects such as airports, commercial real estate, cruise terminals, hotels or mixed‑use facilities.
• Experience with port infrastructure construction (breakwaters, quay walls, dredging) is a plus.
• Highly motivated, deadline‑driven and able to work independently.
