Project Manager Automation

About the role

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Project Manager Automation to join the Software & Business Applications team in its Industrial Engineering division. The role focuses on driving digitalisation, data management and process automation at the Urdorf site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data management, databases, software and business applications in production.
• Oversee integration of production data management, MES and ERP systems.
• Develop, implement and manage business applications, software solutions and databases to continuously optimise production processes.
• Lead larger projects related to innovative applications, software solutions and data management systems, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Document completed projects concerning integrated applications and software solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions, especially MES and ERP (preferably SAP).
• Experience in managing development and integration projects in automation, databases and MES systems.
• Excellent change and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German.

• Automation and software development experience
