Project Manager Engineering

About the role

The Project Manager, Engineering will lead engineering projects that support manufacturing operations, product development and continuous improvement initiatives within the medical device sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through completion, defining scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and external partners.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and status reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Manage change control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in engineering project management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cross‑functional projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and quality systems.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (preferred).
• Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Budget management and resource forecasting.
• Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance knowledge (FDA, ISO).
• Lean supply chain management and process improvement.
