Project Manager – Supplier Focused Projects (Medical Devices)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead supplier‑focused improvement projects for our implantable blood‑pump systems. Based in Zurich, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close projects from concept to completion, managing resources, risks and budgets.
• Drive continuous‑improvement and sustaining‑engineering activities for purchased components and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers, supply‑chain, manufacturing, quality, engineering, regulatory and R&D to resolve quality risks.
• Oversee design changes, verification & validation testing, protocol releases and regulatory/patent submissions.
• Prepare and present regular project health reports to executive management and steering committees.
• Manage project expense (PEx) and ensure accurate forecasting and mid‑month/end‑month reporting.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of medical‑device development, manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training and supplier visits.
