Project Quality Specialist (80‑100%)

About the role

Join an international project organization to drive quality across large, complex EPC projects. You will act as a trusted quality partner to the Project Manager, ensuring quality requirements are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and monitor quality‑related project activities, resources, KPIs and deliverables.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and ISO 9001‑certified QMS.
• Lead project quality audits, manage non‑conformances, corrective actions, lessons learned and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Monitor and report quality indicators such as non‑conformance reports, customer complaints, cost of poor quality, project savings and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment, including supplier documentation, Inspection and Test Plans, Master Test Plans, inspections and shipment‑release reviews.
• Support site quality activities, including training, audits, inspections, documentation hand‑over and project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• At least five years of EPC project quality management experience, preferably in power, renewable energy or oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; internal‑auditor certification is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP Quality Module, project and risk management, and supplier/site quality processes.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 implementation and auditing.

• Inspection and Test Plans, PPAP, mechanical completion procedures.
• Problem‑solving methods: 8D, root‑cause analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma, FMEA.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
