Projects and Partnerships Intern – HQ, Geneva

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Projects and Partnerships Intern to support its headquarters in Geneva. The intern will work closely with the Head of Projects and Institutional Partnerships and two unit managers, contributing to project cycle management, partnership formalisation, and fundraising activities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow‑up of processes related to Project Cycle Management (PCM) and keep the PCM database up to date.
• Support analysis of donor contracts, project coding, kick‑off meetings and performance indicators.
• Assist in reviewing and validating grant agreements with IMPACT’s global partner Acted.
• Monitor and track funding opportunities, analyse them and support the preparation of applications and due‑diligence documents.
• Contribute to the development of internal guidance, tools, templates and the consolidation of partnership databases.

Required profile

• Studies in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Economics or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good working level in French.
• Attention to detail, rigorous and organised, with the ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Proactive team player able to operate in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Proven experience in copywriting and editing articles, reports and presentations.
• Academic exposure to grant management, project cycle management and monitoring & evaluation.
