About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead complex construction and technical infrastructure projects. The role focuses on heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring safe, efficient delivery while meeting regulatory and sustainability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple HVAC and infrastructure projects from planning through handover.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Own project budgets, schedules, risk registers and documentation.
• Review and validate offers, cost estimates, scopes of work and contractor performance.
• Manage change orders, negotiations, claims and contract administration.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and enforce safety, regulatory and sustainability standards.
• Prepare project reports and governance documents, ensuring transparent communication.
• Facilitate customer and stakeholder meetings in German and English.
• Support commissioning and handover of completed systems, including final documentation and warranty management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in construction, industrial or technical environments; experience in pharma or biotechnology is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of Swiss construction standards (e.g., SIA), regulatory requirements and procurement processes.
