Psychology Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

In this hourly, remote contractor position you will lead quality assurance for psychology‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated psychology content and trainer work meet rigorous standards for accuracy, ethics, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated psychology content and trainer/QA outputs against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback to maintain consistency and high quality.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain documentation of quality guidelines.
• Monitor contributor performance and activate those with inconsistent activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, PsyD or equivalent in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Science, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Social Work, Psychiatry‑adjacent research, Education or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in psychology research, clinical or counseling settings, behavioral science, academic writing, or mental‑health content review.
• Strong command of English for written feedback and communication.
• Deep understanding of psychological theories, research methods, ethics, and mental‑health safety considerations.

Required skills

• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and detect issues such as overdiagnosis, unsafe advice, unsupported claims, pseudoscience, or stigmatizing language.
