Purchaser (80-100%) - Warehouse Automation

About the role

Dexion Automation, a Gonvarri Group company specialising in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions, is looking for a Purchaser to join its new offices in Hochdorf. The position is full-time (80-100%) and involves ensuring the availability of goods and services while working with project managers, installation teams and the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the optimal availability of goods and services, taking into account deadlines, the current procurement market and budgets
• Request, compare and evaluate offers
• Initiate, process and monitor orders independently, check order confirmations and track outstanding deliveries
• Organise national and international transport with regard to economic and environmental factors
• Update product and supplier master data
• Optimise and further develop purchasing and procurement processes

Required profile

• Basic technical training with commercial qualifications and experience in procurement or AVOR/planning, or alternatively a commercial apprenticeship with purchasing experience in a producing company
• Understanding of business administration and a strong awareness of costs and quality
• Good knowledge of German, spoken and written, and good knowledge of English
• Willingness to learn, independent and structured working style, and ability to work under pressure

Required skills

• IT affinity with good knowledge of MS Office
• Organisational skills and assertiveness, openness to stakeholders
