Purchasing Project Buyer - Power Tools Accessories (Packaging)

About the role

Scintilla AG develops, manufactures and coordinates the distribution of power tool accessories for trades, industrial applications and DIY, and is part of the Bosch Group. As Purchasing Project Buyer for the Commodity Packaging, you manage purchasing projects for Time to Market, Change Requests and serial products. You are the main link between packaging suppliers, internal engineering and manufacturing plants, covering sourcing from initial inquiry to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead packaging projects, driving and implementing cost-reduction and optimization initiatives
• Ensure legal requirements, industry standards and internal compliance are followed, prepare sourcing plans, analyse quotation comparisons and draft strategic sourcing proposals
• Act as direct contact for packaging suppliers, inform them of technical adaptations, handle data sharing and data cleansing, and run the request for quotation process
• Maintain accurate purchasing and material data in SAP and other ERP systems
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable cost-saving ideas
• Align new business allocations with the global supplier strategy and collaborate daily with packaging engineers and plant logistics departments

Required profile

• Degree or recent graduation in purchasing, business administration, packaging engineering or project management
• Committed, proactive, analytical mindset with commercial and technical understanding
• Very good written and spoken German and English

• Very good SAP and MS Office skills
