QC Laboratory Technician – HPLC

About the role

We are seeking a QC Laboratory Technician with hands‑on HPLC experience to join our Quality Control team in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Visp, Switzerland. The role involves performing analytical testing, documenting results and supporting the smooth operation of the laboratory while working closely with production and shift teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine HPLC analyses following validated methods, SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Execute quality‑control tests to support manufacturing and product release.
• Accurately record analytical results and maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Maintain and calibrate assigned analytical equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organized and inspection‑ready.
• Collaborate with shift personnel and cross‑functional teams to address laboratory needs.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Laboratory Technician qualification, CTA or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands‑on experience performing HPLC analysis in a laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques and laboratory documentation.
• Experience working with SOPs and quality procedures in a regulated setting.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English or German (basic knowledge of the other language preferred).
