QHSE & Industrial Director – Power Grid Central Europe

About the role

This senior position leads the QHSE and industrial transformation for the Power Grid Business Unit across Central Europe. Reporting to the BU Managing Director, you will define and execute the industrial, technical, QHSE and digital roadmap for sites in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, the UK and Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy the BU Industrial, Technical, QHSE and Digital Roadmap aligned with Nexans Group strategy.
• Drive operational excellence by improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and inventory through standardized methodologies and governance.
• Lead strategic CAPEX programs, industrial transformation projects and footprint optimisation initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Group policies, QHSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Accelerate continuous improvement via Lean Manufacturing, digitalisation, automation and best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in industrial and operations leadership.
• Proven track record in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing and delivering CAPEX projects.
• Experience leading international teams in a matrix environment.
• Fluent English with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
