Quality Assurance Inspector

About the role

An owner-managed, young and dynamic aviation company based in Basel is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector. The role works in line with AMAC specifications and procedures and acts as Quality Inspector and Internal Quality Auditor for the Production, Maintenance, Design and CAMO organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Follow AMAC procedures and ensure good communication between the Quality Assurance Team, Maintenance and Production teams
• Liaise with authorities, support and attend audits and prepare audit checklists
• Review and amend organisation exposés, capability lists, procedures (handbooks, process specifications, technical instructions) and forms
• Report continuously on the overall quality status
• Prepare and deliver internal training and briefing sessions on AMAC procedures and technical subjects
• Update company manuals and procedures
• Support Maintenance, Production, Design and CAMO on maintenance licence applications, extensions and renewals, and internal authorisations
• Support the Manager QA and Director QA on administrative and organisational matters, including approval certificates

Required profile

• Several years of practical experience in the aviation environment
• Active or former Aircraft Maintenance Licence holder preferred
• Several years of experience in quality assurance and/or quality inspection functions
• Auditing experience

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of EASA regulations Part 145, Part M-CAMO and/or Part 21 Subpart G-J and guidance materials
• Ability to write handbooks, procedures, technical instructions and audit reports
