Quality Assurance Manager – Lean & GMP (80‑100%)

About the role

Join a global life‑sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation as a Quality Assurance Manager within the Quality Excellence team. You will lead Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives in a GMP‑regulated environment, supporting both operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process standardisation and operational efficiency aligned with Lean standards.
• Support implementation of Lean Batch Release initiatives at site level.
• Build and develop Quality Excellence structures, including Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks.
• Promote a continuous‑improvement and Lean culture across Quality functions.
• Track, analyse, and report Quality KPIs, driving performance improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Share best practices across the site and global network.
• Contribute to digitalisation and simplification of Quality processes.

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific discipline or technical/apprenticeship background in pharma or laboratory environment.
• Strong experience in GMP‑regulated environments (QA/QC preferred).
• Lean / Six Sigma experience with Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience in continuous improvement, quality systems, or operational excellence roles.
• Fluent German and good English.
