Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Baxter, you will ensure plant activities comply with GMP and company quality policies, working closely with cross‑functional teams to drive investigations, corrective actions, and supplier qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, distribute and archive quality records in line with Good Documentation Practices.
• Lead non‑conformity investigations and corrective action plans, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Drive supplier qualification and quality activities to meet Baxter’s expectations.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing compliance and inspection readiness.
• Provide training and coaching to reinforce high compliance standards.
• Review and update quality policies, procedures and the Quality Manual to keep the QMS aligned with business needs.
• Manage electronic quality documentation processes for accuracy and accessibility.
• Partner with site departments to keep processes current and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience with Quality Management Systems in the pharmaceutical or medical‑device industry.
• Degree in engineering or a scientific field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record managing investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to operate safely and follow internal quality procedures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Good command of English and Italian.
