Quality Control Technician (SPC / IEC)

About the role

SSWISS GROUP AG, an international industrial group in the renewable energy sector manufacturing solar modules and components, is looking for a Quality Control Technician in Zug, Switzerland. The role supports inspection, testing and continuous improvement of product quality within the production facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final and incoming inspections of solar modules and components
• Carry out visual, dimensional and electrical inspections (IV curve, insulation, EL, flash testing)
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to monitor production quality
• Collect, analyse and interpret quality data, and record inspection results in ERP/MES systems
• Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support root cause analysis (5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto)
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal quality procedures
• Support internal and external audits, including those with TÜV and other certification bodies
• Maintain quality records and inspection documentation

Required profile

• Technical education in Engineering, Electronics or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in quality control within manufacturing
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset
• German and/or English proficiency

Required skills

• Knowledge of SPC and quality tools
• Understanding of IEC standards (IEC 61215, IEC 61730); an advantage
• Experience with ERP/MES systems; an advantage
