About the role
VAT Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen its commitment to high‑performance vacuum solutions. You will act as a key quality partner, supporting both customers and internal teams while driving continuous improvement across the production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and process customer and internal quality claims.
- Lead 8D problem‑solving teams to resolve complex issues.
- Monitor quality performance, initiate continuous‑improvement initiatives, and lead Q‑innovation projects.
- Promote a quality mindset by delivering training sessions to production staff.
- Serve as the interface for quality matters between Production, Business Units, Engineering, and Corporate Quality.
- Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Required profile
- Technical education with advanced training in quality management.
- Degree in quality management or a bachelor’s in engineering (preferred).
- Proven experience using key quality tools such as 5 Why analysis, SPC, and Ishikawa diagrams.
- Hands‑on experience with internal and external audits.
- Fluent in English and German.
