Quality Inspector - Certifying Staff

About the role

A world-leading engine MRO service provider based in Zurich is looking for a Quality Inspector (Certifying Staff) to join its New Engines team at Zurich Airport. The role covers review and certification of engine maintenance work.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming, disassembly, assembly and final paperwork for CFM International LEAP and Pratt & Whitney PW1100 engines in line with manufacturer instructions
• Perform final checks and certify maintenance carried out on engines and single modules
• Carry out orders on time and independently check their own work
• Document activities in accordance with regulations
• Improve processes continuously to raise quality and reduce production costs

Required profile

• Completed technical vocational training with engine type ratings; an S-License authorising release of engine work is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in an engine shop
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
• Solid problem-solving ability with strong safety, quality and cost awareness
• Independent, precise, responsible and detail-oriented, with good communication skills
• German (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2)
• EU passport, Swiss passport or Swiss working permit (Swiss immigration regulations apply)
