Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead quality assurance across complex industrial and engineering projects in the clean-energy sector, focusing on advanced electrolysis and hydrogen infrastructure. Based in Switzerland, you will design, implement and continuously improve quality systems that cover the full project lifecycle from design to customer hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality activities across design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and delivery.
• Develop, implement and refine quality systems, procedures and project‑specific quality programmes.
• Build and manage quality teams, inspectors and third‑party resources supporting suppliers and fabrication partners.
• Define Inspection & Test Plans, quality hold points and ensure compliance throughout manufacturing and construction.
• Oversee non‑conformance management, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive actions.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, audits and performance evaluation with supply‑chain teams.
• Review and approve technical documentation such as drawings, weld maps and material lists.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and resolve punch‑list items before shipment.
• Maintain End‑of‑Manufacturing Record Books and ensure adherence to industry codes and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Welding, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience in quality roles within industrial equipment, fabrication or large‑scale engineering projects.
• 4+ years in a Quality Manager or equivalent leadership position.
• Proven track record delivering quality assurance on multiple concurrent projects, preferably in Europe.
