Regional Banking Client Partner (Solutions & Delivery) - EMEA

About the role

SAP Fioneer builds next-generation banking platforms combining financial-services expertise with SAP technology. To grow its business in the EMEA region, it is looking for an experienced leader who takes entrepreneurial ownership of a portfolio of strategic banking clients, from business development through to successful delivery. The role is neither a traditional delivery lead nor a pure sales account manager: you take end-to-end responsibility for selected key clients with a focus on growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Take full entrepreneurial responsibility for a portfolio of strategic banking clients and act as the central point of contact at executive level
• Build strong, long-term client relationships that go beyond individual projects
• Define the strategic direction of solutions together with Solutioning and Product, and ensure commercial commitments are delivered in practice
• Act as Executive Sponsor for critical programs within your client portfolio
• Work closely with Sales and Go-to-Market to scale growth, and position SAP Fioneer within the banking ecosystem
• Leverage your network and market access to open doors and create opportunities

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a senior role within the financial-services sector, focused on banking
• Deep understanding of transformation initiatives in transaction banking, payments or core banking
• Proven experience building and developing client relationships at senior and executive level
• Track record of identifying, structuring and executing complex business and transformation initiatives
• Ability to connect commercial considerations with delivery requirements
• Experience steering large-scale programs in a complex environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership and high execution capability
